Original diver's watch  

Seiko launched the first Japanese diver's watch in 1965. Due to its special case construction, this original diver's watch offered water resistance up to 150 meters! The Seiko Prospex was introduced in the 20th century deployed on several Japanese Antarctic Research expeditions. The expedition members were very pleased with the performance of the Seiko Prospex. Today, Seiko continuously strives to provide even greater reliability and safety for both professional and recreational divers and other adventurers. Design Seiko Prospex 

The Seiko Prospex collection is inspired by Seiko's original diver's watch from the 1960s. The new collection combines a powerful look with a delicate dial pattern. The watch case has a sleek and robust steel design. This gives the collection a timeless masculine look! The watch case is delicately finished with curved sapphire crystal with an anti-reflection coating on the inside. The anti-reflection coating increases legibility from any viewing angle and eliminates 99% of all reflections. The Seiko Prospex is beautifully finished with a tough strap and folding clasp with press stud. Both the case and the watch strap both feature a super-hard coating. This coating ensures that the Seiko Prospex collection is extremely resistant to the action of sunlight and seawater. Automatic movement 

Replacing batteries is a thing of the past! This is because the Seiko Prospex watches feature a mechanical caliber with date display. This means that the watches charge themselves automatically while being worn. Arm and wrist movements of the wearer cause the mainspring to be wound up. The mainspring then converts this into energy. Once charged, the watch has a power reserve of several hours. It is also possible to wind the watch manually.
